Crohns Disease

If you have crohns disease, I should know how you're feeling, because I have it too. That's why I created this website.

You see, I have tried to get something good out if this inflammatory bowel disease for quite some time now. And I can promise you that to get something positive out of a autoimmune disease like crohns, isn't easy! Because, probably like you, I really hate this disease. But it took me some time to realize that I just had to pick myself up and start working to get better again so my life could go on.

So, one of the things I did was to find out about how to create a website online. And on this website I would have a lot of information, help and own experience about this disease so that it hopefully could help other people with this autoimmune disorder to manage to live a little bit better with it. And by creating a website like that, to help other people, I knew I would feel better myself, and maybe my crohns would get better too? Beacause I think it's very important to feel good about yourself when you've got a pretty serious disease like crohns.

Obviously I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I expect that you also hate to be sick and that crohns disease in many ways ruins your life.

I have visited a lot of websites about irritable bowel disorder and crohns, but I feel that many of them are a bit confusing and not so good. Many of them are also about ulcerative colitis and other autoimmune diseases and therefore the crohns part of these websites are a bit washed out and not so accurate. This is the reason that this website is all about crohns disease, except some basic facts about the other irritable bowel disorder (IBD) diseases.

I thought it would be nice to know a little bit about the other IBD diseases too, because they are very much like crohns. So, if you don't have a irritable bowel disorder, this website is probably not for you!

Anyway, I reached a point in my life where I got too sick and tired about not knowing about what crohns is. "What's really happening to me?" and "What is crohns disease", was some of the questions I asked myself. And I sure as heck didn't know the answer...So what should I do? That's right! I turned to the best place in the world to get information. The internet!

As I've mentioned abow, I visited a lot of other websites and forums about this disease. And I found answers to my questions on many of the websites. But it didn't matter how many websites I visited...Some of my questions was still unanswered. So I asked them to my doctor, but even he didn't know, beacause it isn't any crohns disease cure yet and the doctors don't really know the exact crohns disease cause yet.

After creating this website and after reading a lot about irritable bowel disorder, intestinal problems/intestinal disorders, intestinal inflammation, irritable colon and crohns, I still need some answers. "Is it a link between crohns disease and diet?", "what is the best medications for crohns disease?" and "does a perfect crohns disease treatment excist?" is some of the questions I still need answers to. But a reason that nobody has any answers to those questions is probably because that the disease is, as you probably already know, very individual. I will write more about that in a moment.

I'm sure you also need some answers, just like me. But hopefully you can find some of them here on this website. It would also be a good idea to visit something I have called "IBD-community". You can find "IBD-community" by clicking on the "Community" bar at the navigation menu to the left.

The next thing I'm about to say, I figure you are just as sick and tired of hearing as I am, but as you already know, crohns disease is a very individual disease, and something that might have a very good effect on one person, could have very little or zero effect on you. So I can't guarantee that any of the adviceses you find here may help you anything at all. All the stuff I write in this website, is my own research on this, and you should always ask your doctor before doing anything that you have read here at www.crohns-sykdom.com. But it doesn't take so much to look through this website to find some tips and help, does it? I'm sure it will be worth it if you find something that can get you better, right?

All the time I spend online, researching facts about crohns and how it behaves, is time well spend to me. I actually found several things that have made me better. It have been a lot of trying and failing and it took me some time to get there, but it's so very much worth it now when I'm pretty much symptomfree. When I started this road, one thing were always on my mind. That was that crohns should never ever defeat me, and I knew I would get back on my feet and start to live as I did before I got sick again!

So, I hope you would enjoy this site and your visit at www.crohns-sykdom.com and find this website easy to navigate through.
